Please read through before and aftercare before scheduling your appointment to ensure that you are an ideal candidate for permanent makeup procedure.

PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT:

To ensure best results, make sure you health is in good condition. Get enough rest, eat well, exercise.

72 hours before and after your appointment: avoid alcohol and apsirin/ibuprofen.

One week before : stop taking the following supplements (Vitamin E, B6, Omega 3, Gingko Biloba, St. John's Wort) as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.

On the day of your appointment: avoid caffeine and exercise. Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the shower for several days. Baths are recommended.

Pigments during eyebrow embroidery/microstroking are not implanted as deep into the skin as a traditional tattoo, or even micropigmentation with an electric permanent makeup device. This allows for healed results of very fine, thin, and crisp hair lines, however, results do not last as long as traditional methods. A color boost/re-touch is required usually between 12-16 months. A touch-up may be required at 12 months or sooner for oily-skinned clients, those who tan often, or or often expose brow area to certain chemicals (facial peels, chlorine, anti-aging products, etc.). Pigment retention varies depending on skin type, age, aftercare, immune system, medications, certain chemicals, and the type of pigment used.

We use only the best quality, USA made, USP grade pigments that heal true to colour. All materials used during each and every appointment (including pre-sterilized blades) are 100% disposable. We strictly adhere to both Santa Clara Public Health and OSHA guidelines for proper infection control practices.

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • After the semi/permanent make-up procedure, it is natural for swelling to occur, particularly for lip liner and eyeliner procedures and depending on different skin types.  Applying an ice pack to the treated area ever 10-15 minutes will minimize swelling and aid in healing.

  • Colors may appear darker immediately following the procedure.  Pigments usually scab after 3-5 days.  DO NOT pick, rub, or cleanse the area with soap or cleanser for one week.  Allow the scab to flake off naturally.  As the healing progresses, colors will soften to its true color.  We recommend lightly pressure to wash your face and showering with low pressure water.

  • No water on brows for one week to ensure the hairstroke lines to stay as fine as possible. Water, sweat, and oil on hairstroke lines can blur/spread the lines out.

  • It is normal for colors to fade up to 60% the first week. Complimentary touch up is recommended after 6-8 weeks.

  • Apply on a small dosage of antibiotic cream, ONLY on the day of the procedure(s) and then DO NOT apply the

  • Do not soak treated area in a hot tub or swimming pool for ten days.

  • WARNING: Chlorine, exfoliation creams, and exposure to the sun will cause colors to fade.

  • Failure to follow post-procedure instructions may cause loss of pigment, discoloration or infection.

Semi- Permanent Brows – Do not pick, peel or force exfoliate while they are healing (usually about 7 days). Do not apply any additional makeup to to the area while they are healing. No water on brows for one week to ensure the hairstroke lines to stay as fine as possible. Water, sweat, and oil on hair-stroke lines can blur/spread the lines out. Pat aftercare ointment provided on with a q-tip or with gloves and splash only water on them during the healing process.

**Please Note For 3D and 6D Semi-permanent procedures, you will experience 40% to 60% fading with the 1st application. Since the ink is implanted from 1mm-2mm, it's very common every single strokes will not penetrate/absorbed into the skin the first application. For that reason, we offer a 1 time free touch-up (after the initial procedure) for those needed.

Tip: While you wait for your touch-up appointment, we recommend to use pencil or powder to fill in the spots temporary. The 2nd session is always much better than the initial procedure!

You can wear mascara on the tips of your lashes in 24 hours if you purchase a new tube, otherwise don’t wear any eye makeup for 4 days. You will experience 30% to 50% fading with the 1st application.
