In order to ensure that every client has adequate time to have their individual needs addressed we have instituted certain policies and pre-procedure requirements. For your health and welfare and to ensure a successful outcome in your new Permanent Makeup, please read the following:
Please refrain from taking any medications for 7 days prior to your appointment that may cause thinning of the blood. We do not want to encourage any unnecessary bleeding. These medications include Advil (Ibuprofen) Aleve, Aspirin, or other prescription medications that promote thinning of the blood. Alcohol constitutes a blood-thinner so refrain from drinking alcohol within the 48 hours leading up to your appointment.
If you are pre-menstrual or on your period you will be more pain sensitive. Every effort is made during your procedure to make you comfortable with the use of topical anesthetics. Typically the procedures are relatively painless; some experience mild discomfort. Try to plan your procedure so it does not fall at this point of your monthly cycle.
If you are having your lips tattooed and have EVER had a cold sore or "fever blister" (Herpes Simplex) you will need to be on prescription medication to prevent an outbreak in response to the "trauma" to the lip tissue. This can be obtained by calling your doctor or your dentist and begin the medication the day before your procedure. NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE TO THIS RULE. IF YOU COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITHOUT THE PRESCRIPTION YOUR PROCEDURE WILL BE RESCEDULED AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED A MISSED APPOINTMENT FEE.
If you are insulin dependant diabetic, or have glaucoma and use prescription eye drops for this condition, or have any other serious medical condition that you are being treated for, you must inform us in advance of this condition. It may be fine to proceed with your appointment but sometimes we require a release from your treating physician. If you are using Retin-A or other retinoid based skin products, you must discontinue these products for 10 days prior to your procedure.
For eyebrows and eyeliner, do not tint or wax within 48 hours of your procedure. If you have a tendency to swell and are having your lips or eyeliner tattooed, you may take Benedryl or other over the counter antihistamine 1hour before your appointment. NO LASH EXTENSIONS can be on if you are having eyeliner. We recommend removal of any lash extensions at least one week prior to your eyeliner to avoid any possible reaction to the removal solution.
For EYELINER, you must discontinue the use of all eyelash growth enhancement products, i.e. Latisse and similar; prescription or over-the counter brands. These products cause inflammation to the lid and lash line and combining them with eyeliner tattoing is a medical contraindication.
Feel free to arrive with your makeup on if you would like for us to see how you wear your customary daytime makeup. You may also bring any photographic examples, makeup colors etc. to use in the selection process.
Your permanent makeup will look darker and more dramatic for the first 3-7 days following your procedure. This is normal and temporary. You will probably call us at this point and ask us if this is normal. Yes, this is normal.
You will be wearing a thin layer of healing ointment for 7 days. Please plan your procedure to ensure enough time to heal and feel comfortable with your appearance. Usually 5-7 days is adequate. You will not be wearing mascara for 7 days if you have your eyeliner done. Plan your schedule accordingly.
When you make your appointment you have reserved the very highest quality specialist and facility possible. We do not overbook or double book, you will have a personal appointment just for you. In order to provide this quality attention to our clients, we need to have clear communication regarding any change to your exclusive appointment time. A credit card deposit of %50 is paid to reserve your appointment, balance is due day of service. We require 3 business days cancellation or rescheduling notice. If cancellations or changes are made within the required time frame the deposit is fully refundable, otherwise for late notice and no-shows the reservation fee is forfeited.
Failure to disclose pertinent medical information that results in the last minute cancellation of a scheduled procedure will result in a fee. If you have any condition that you are under on-going medical care for, you must disclose this before scheduling an appointment so we can evaluate your situation and determine if you are a candidate for the process.
The results of any cosmetic procedure, including but not limited to permanent cosmetics, cannot be guaranteed. As such, whether or not a patient is satisfied with the outcome, there will be no refunds.
Visitors and Children
CDC-OSHA guidelines do not allow observers in the procedure room. Family or friends can remain in the waiting room if desired. They are also welcome to participate during makeup designing. The treatment romm, is not equipped for children or babies. Child care arrangements must be made prior to all appointments.
Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash.
Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with any other promotions.
All retail cosmetics or personal skin care products are non-returnable and no refunds.
We schedule one client at a time in order to give everyone adequate opportunity to have the best outcome. This will include a thorough consultation, designing of the areas to be tattooed and time for the application of the topical anesthetic. We pay special attention to the smallest details and want the opportunity to give you beautiful and natural looking permanent makeup.
